It’s easy to see why our design, Cartesian Winter, has become a business holiday card customer favorite. This business Christmas card design starts with a photograph of the artful tillage of a midwest farmer’s field; precise parallel lines yielding only to the monolith in their way. A series of concentric rings buffer the monolith and a light dusting of snow enhances the quiet presence of the geometric patterns, resulting in a simple and elegant composition.

Without really knowing, our suspicion is that in this particular example of environmental design, the farmer has, over the course of many years, perfected his art, resulting in a beautiful canvas, year after year.
