Description
Architecture, Engineering or Construction, This Design Has You Covered!
A smiling snowman dances with joy in front of an iconic building, while snowflakes drift down from above in this festive architectural holiday card. The famous Fallingwater house by architect Frank Lloyd Wright is seen in a dramatic and unusual view from below. (The iconic image most commonly associated with Fallingwater is taken further back from across the river.) The crystalline structures of frozen water falling from above make this image a delightful pun for the architectural “in crowd.” The message “Happy Holidays” is printed in the lower right-hand corner on a band of bright Christmas red. The snowman appears near the waterfall below the house, and the contrast of cool concrete and warm window glow create a handsome background. Because of the site topography, this is a rarely seen view.
You don’t have to be a Wright fan to appreciate the charm and whimsy of this architectural holiday card.
